Bottega Veneta continues to find new ways to shake up the fashion industry and spark curiosity.
Bottega Veneta announced that they held a secret fashion show in Berghain, the most secretive nightclub in Berlin and probably the whole world. In line with the brand’s position on social media and Berghain’s no photo policy, there are no photos whatsoever from the presentation inside.
Although no images from the presentation are shared, at least we have the street style looks of the guests 🙂 Attendees include designer Virgil Abloh, Roberto Bolle, music legend Tricky, ace DJ Honey Dijon, Burna Boy, Skepta, Slowthai, Kwes Darko, Oumi Janta, Michelle Nicol, Thea Djordjadze, Marc Goehring, Polina Semionova, Maria and Joerg Koch and Sven Marquardt – the famous head bouncer of the club.
While everyone is trying their best to comply with the current pandemic and lockdown, Bottega Veneta was hosting a runway show at Berghain and a party at Soho House Berlin. The fact that an “elite” group from all over the world came to the country -in the midst of a Germanwide lockdown and increasing corona numbers- for a fashion show and party, again opened up the conversation of the “elitist” attitude of luxury fashion brands.
