Chanel Fall-Winter 2025/26 Haute Couture Collection

 “An invitation to greener pastures.”

The CHANEL Fall-Winter 2025/26 Haute Couture collection opens like a quiet reverie — a return to origins, to air, to texture. Pastoral yet refined, it celebrates the poetry of nature and the freedom it evokes. In the Salon d’Honneur of the Grand Palais, Willo Perron’s decor recalls the intimacy of 31 rue Cambon, where Gabrielle Chanel herself first envisioned simplicity as the new form of elegance.

The collection, conceived by the Creation Studio, draws inspiration from the English countryside and the Scottish moors — landscapes that once breathed new life into Mademoiselle’s vocabulary of style. Suits in ecru, ivory, brown, green, and black reinterpret the codes of menswear, embracing freedom of movement and a natural sense of grace.

Tweed, Chanel’s timeless signature, takes on unexpected forms. It softens into knitted textures for a white coatdress trimmed with embroidered braids, a jacket that becomes a sweater, and mohair suits in autumnal greens and plums. Bouclé tweed, resembling sheepskin, brings depth to a series of silhouettes — from a long gilet to short embroidered trousers, each echoing the warmth of the outdoors. Elsewhere, feathers entwine with tweed, creating the illusion of fur: a trouser suit, an over-cape, and a blouson jacket that feel both light and protective.

Symbols of abundance — wheat ears, a cherished emblem of Gabrielle Chanel — appear throughout. They are woven into chiffon flounces, embroidered along a neckline, or cast in gold as jewel-buttons. Their geometry recalls the precision of chevron lines, infusing movement into trousers and dresses alike. Multicoloured floral embroidery punctuates the pastoral theme, blossoming across satin crêpe pinafores and embroidered pea coats, as if nature had quietly stitched itself into the seams.

As the collection unfolds, it moves toward light — toward gold and warmth. Reflections shimmer through golden buttons, luminous lace, and a flounced lamé dress in burnished orange tones. This radiance, subtle yet assured, becomes the collection’s heartbeat: the dialogue between sun and fabric, between past and present.

An ode to the woman who walks freely through vast landscapes — modern, independent, attuned to beauty in its purest form. The CHANEL Fall-Winter 2025/26 Haute Couture collection is not merely worn; it is inhabited. A vision of nature reborn in couture.
